Everyone is always saying how much they hate Memphis , how it’s a boring place with nothing to do ..

Memphis is where you live .
It’s where you go to school , where you met your friends .
Friends that you’ve become so close to & made so many memories with . Memories that you never want to forget .
People always want to move out of Tennessee , for more opportunities .
To be honest , I was one of these people . But I’ve realized there are opportunities everywhere . Even in small towns . Sometimes you just have to work a little harder to find them . But it’s not impossible .

You make your life how you want it , & complaining about where you are just makes everything harder on yourself . Be happy wherever you may be .
You were put there for some reason . Figure out your reason .

Why don’t you see what I see in him ?
He takes care of me . He makes me happy . He shares the same dreams . He hopes for the best for me . He helps me . He talks to me . He understands me . He wants to be with me .
He’s don’t everything and more for me , and you can’t even thank him .

I don’t picture any other life than a life with him . We do plan for the future , many years away .
I know we’re both young . We both have our whole lives ahead of us . But neither of us want anything other than to be together .

You once had these same feelings for my mother .. You made mistakes , and I understand that you don’t want me to make the same mistakes . But I am your daughter , & you gotta know that I have learned from your mistakes . I won’t make your mistakes .
I want you to accept him into your life like I have in mine . I want you to be okay with seeing him with me .
I want you to understand that I love him . I really love him . And I truly believe he loves me .
Let us be kids in love , trust us to be together . It’s all I want .
